Cocktail umbrellas

While clearly being in a color mood the last couple of days I remembered I used cocktail umbrellas last year to practice with photography, which turned out to be really fun. Being a kid I always stretched the parasols up and down until they didn't stretch anymore. I know, it's not something very memorable ;) But there my excitement with the paper umbrellas stopped. Maybe I should learn to make cocktails so I can use them (more) often... Any tips on how to use these cute decorations besides for drinks?

  3. What about a decorative mobile? I bet it would look cute and whimsical, especially with all the different colors!

  5. Pretty! And an awesome way to practice.. those vivid colors just pop.

Some people put lil stick 'ems on the sticks and use them as place cards.. Personally, their intended purpose is how I like them best :) Cheers!
