It's all in the details

Good morning! How was your weekend? I'm almost sorry mine is over ;) It was great spending time with family and friends and riding on a bike a couple of times in perfect Spring weather. Today I thought I'd combine some of my favorite images and while doing so I realized they all interest me because of their details. Have you ever seen such a gorgeous feathered hat or beautiful lipstick holder? And imagine the first interior without that gold sofa, that would instantly look more boring right? A little less obvious but still there is the same effect when you'd picture away the chess table and pink chairs in the last interior image. Yes it's clear, it's all in the details...

  1. It's always about the details. Love the hat and when reading about the lipstick holder it instatly comes to my mind the fantastic Coco Chanel and her numerous innovations in terms of fashion: once again we have to thank her for coming up with the ingenious way of carrying our favourite lipstick in our bags everywhere we go. I'm glad you had a great weekend and I hope you're off to a wonderful new week! :) Ada

And thank you for your comment on my photo. Nik and I went to the Nightingale Park and did some shooting ;-)

  7. The details make the difference... I love that living room of the apartment in Barcelona and the oil paintings are stunning. I am thinking in paint one for my dinning room and the first one in red is an inspiration, thank you
