A beloved possession

Staying in the black and white roses mood today. I'm so happy with this antique mirror, its such a great pleasure to see it hanging there every time I enter or sit down in the living room. I still feel like knowing every tiny detail, grain and spot that it has from childhood memories. Have you received any remarkable pieces of antiques in the form of furniture, decorations or perhaps jewelry that you hold very dear? If so, do they get the spotlight they deserve?

  1. These are just gorgeous! I love that they're in black and white. There's something so timeless and magical about black and white photography, isn't there?

As far as antiques, I have some of my grandmother's jewelry that I display on my dresser. They're some of my favorite pieces and I treasure them dearly.

Hope you're having a lovely day! xoxo

  9. Beautiful images Christel, I'm so glad you're getting so much enjoyment from your mirror. My father gave me his desk that he used in his home office before he passed away--I remember when he picked it out in Italy and had it shipped home and I'm sitting at it now--it's my favorite piece of furniture.
