When captured like this. Because of my recent experimenting with taking photographs of some personal items I find these captures very inspiring. If it's done the right way, like London based photographer Jon Day proves with these charming images, there's not much needed to create appealing photographs of simple life style objects. And 'appealing' can be emphasized if you ask me, because I certainly get a big, longing feeling for a scented Diptyque candle or lucious scone, hmmm.
