France part one: paradise of charm

Wonderful and charming are the old, peaceful French villages that are characterized by their cobbled streets, tiny houses, churches, small stairs, weathered shutters, gorgeous old lanterns, lazy cats, lovely decorated cafes and terraces, magnificent viewing points and the calming sound of crickets far away. The warm and pale colors of stone and wood are lightened up by bright flowers and even more by a clear blue sky. I always wonder how skilled the residents must be in driving, as the only way in and out is over steep, curvy, small roads. As I told you we relaxed much, so we haven't brought much visits to different villages. After all, it was the riviera we were staying at right;) Tomorrow I'll have another few photo's from what caught my attention in the harbor...
