Porcelain, a weakness of many... Oh wouldn't it be fabulous to own many kinds of gorgeous tableware? I'm imagining a special place to cherish and display them, think of Carrie and her walk in closet ;) The magic of it all of course takes place in the extra pleasure you'll get from eating or drinking tea or coffee out of something so pretty. The incredible porcelain collection of Richard Ginori is that exquisite. I was entertained a long time browsing through the collections. Now I wish the ones below would be mine...
"Richard Ginori 1735 is Italy’s leading manufacturer of fine china tableware and artistic porcelain. The Richard Ginori brand has always known how to blend tradition with contemporary style, while keeping a close eye on changes in the market and consumer preferences, ever since the 1930s, when Gio Ponti gave a new meaning to form and decoration with his innovative Art Deco designs." I have a thing for beautiful dishes. I have had a ceiling to floor glass fronted cabinet in my current house to show off all of my white dishes in my kitchen and another glass fronted cabinet in my butler's pantry for the silver ... so you can see I can't stay away from the pretty stuff. That shouldn't surprise anyone, though, right? ;) haha Have a wonderful week, sweetie!

ReplyDeleteI, like Sandy above, have a thing for beautiful dishes. In fact, I have too many now. I've found my entertaining has taken on a more casual approach lately. But, come fall....I might have to break out the fine china. After all...what good is it if I'm not enjoying it?!
